About The Position

Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within a hospital or healthcare facility through routine cleaning, floor care, waste removal, and support services.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Experience working with the cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers 2-3 years required
Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently but also be a team player.
Good communication and comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

Sweeps, mops, waxes, strips, and polishes floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets.
Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and glass surfaces.
Empties, cleans, and sanitizes waste receptacles in assigned areas.
Cleans and sanitizes restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenishes restroom supplies as needed.
Collects and removes debris from around buildings and grounds.
Operates and controls high- and low-speed stripping and buffing machines.
Sets up tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and routine hospital activities.
Identifies and reports building maintenance needs within assigned buildings and facilities.
