About The Position

Encompass Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe hospital environment. The role supports regulatory compliance and quality standards while contributing to a healing environment for patients. The aide works across hospital areas, uses cleaning equipment and general office equipment, and follows procedures for hazardous materials and potential exposure situations. The position requires a detail-oriented approach, good communication, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across hospital areas according to established quality standards and regulations.
• Use high dusters, vacuums, mops, floor polishers, and other tools to perform cleaning duties.
• Use general office equipment and help maintain a tidy work environment.
• Follow established guidelines and procedures for handling hazardous materials and potential exposure situations.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and expectations.
