About The Position

Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary environment within a hospital or healthcare facility. This role does not involve direct patient care. The position is located at 66 Blossom Street and operates on an evening shift from Monday to Friday, 3pm to 10pm, with scheduled weekly hours of 25.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
2-3 years experience working with the cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers required
Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently but also be a team player
Good communication and comprehension skills

Responsibilities

Sweeps, mops, waxes, strips, and polishes floors
Vacuums and shampoos carpets
Dusts and polishes furniture, fixtures, woodwork, and equipment
Cleans walls, ceilings, doors, windows, sills, blinds, and glass surfaces
Empties, cleans, and sanitizes waste receptacles in assigned areas
Cleans and sanitizes restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; restocks supplies as needed
Collects and removes debris from building areas
Operates high- and low-speed floor care equipment (e.g., buffers and stripping machines)
Sets up tables, chairs, and equipment for events and daily hospital operations
Identifies and reports maintenance needs within assigned areas
