About The Position
Completes routine housekeeping duties and ensures that the Medical Center is provided with a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and employees. Employees of Sutter Health and its entities may handle hazardous drugs in the course of their work, including patient care, which requires them to manage, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drugs identified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and in accordance with the USP 800 guidelines.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills to facilitate accomplishment of job duties and successfully interact with customers.
- Requires flexibility with changes in work and priorities.
- Must demonstrate a positive work ethic, initiative, good judgment, safety awareness and work well with others.
Nice To Haves
- General housekeeping experience preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare housekeeping methods and products preferred.
