About The Position

The Environmental Service Technician at FAMILY HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT COMPANY LLC is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or hospitality environment, preferably in a housekeeping or custodial role.
Experience with cleaning and sanitation procedures in a medical setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment and supplies in a professional setting.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific cleaning protocols and procedures.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and visitors.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards, particularly in a healthcare environment.
Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly, following all safety guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas according to established protocols and procedures.
Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
Collect and dispose of waste, including hazardous materials, in accordance with hospital policies and environmental regulations.
Replenish supplies such as soap, hand sanitizers, and paper products in designated areas.
Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure cleaning schedules do not interfere with patient care and hospital operations.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department for resolution.
Follow infection control guidelines to prevent the spread of infectious diseases within the hospital environment.
Participate in training sessions and stay updated on best practices in environmental services and hospital cleaning protocols.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from patients, staff, or visitors regarding cleanliness and sanitation.
Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to the hospital's code of conduct and ethical standards at all times.
