About The Position

The Environmental Service Technician maintains a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings. The role may require traveling from one facility to another without assistance. The technician responds to and initiates communication using phones, handheld radios, pagers, and similar devices.

This is a full-time evening-shift position with Central Maine Medical Center. The estimated compensation range is $18.00 to $21.75; the starting amount is determined during hiring based on factors such as skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively.

• One year of knowledge of environmental service techniques, practices, and procedures in an acute care hospital.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
