About The Position

Family Health West is hiring an Environmental Service Tech for PRN work on the evening shift. The role cleans patient and resident rooms, restrooms, and other areas using cleaning chemicals and disinfectants, and maintains housekeeping supplies, carts, equipment, and records. The position is based at Family Health West, a community-founded healthcare network in western Colorado. The listed schedule is 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on variable days. The starting wage is $16.60, plus 15% for PRN work, with an additional evening shift differential; pay increases based on experience. Employment requires immunizations, including a flu vaccine. The position is open until filled.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient and resident rooms daily and/or at check-out or discharge using required cleaning chemicals and disinfectants.
• Wash and make beds with clean linen and collect soiled linen.
• Wash walls and clean restrooms, sink areas, and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets and extract carpets as needed.
• Dust and/or mop floors.
• Collect trash and clean trash containers.
• Perform high dusting.
• Maintain a daily report of rooms cleaned and submit it to the department supervisor.
• Clean and restock the housekeeping cart for the next day.
• Stock supplies in utility closets.
• Maintain and clean housekeeping equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order.
• Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate.
• Maintain reliable and punctual attendance.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
