About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas within the establishment. Team members are expected to adhere to company policies, including the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which emphasizes proactive guest and team member interaction. The position involves participating in mandatory meetings and pre-shift sessions, performing various cleaning tasks, and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime, is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be able to operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.).
• Meets the attendance guidelines and adheres to departmental and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy.
• Participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
• Maintain assigned areas.
• Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor.
• Clean and maintain slot machines and stands.
• Clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors and any surface needing cleaning attention.
• Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms.
• Clean and refresh ashtrays and ash urns.
• Restock with supplies (paper products) and chemicals work area (as needed).
• Perform proper and trained cleaning procedures when blood borne pathogens are involved.
• Clean and maintain areas as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
• Vacuum as assigned.
• Remove trash as assigned.
• Remove or transport items from one area to another as assigned.
• Mop floors.
• Operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.).
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to departmental and company policies.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
