About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas within the establishment. Team members are expected to adhere to the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which emphasizes proactive guest and team member interaction. This includes acknowledging individuals within a certain proximity, maintaining a positive on-stage presence, and participating in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift sessions. The specialist will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, cleaning machines and stands, walls, restrooms, and other surfaces. They will also be responsible for restocking supplies, handling biohazards according to trained procedures, vacuuming, trash removal, mopping, and operating cleaning equipment. Adherence to attendance guidelines and company policies is crucial, as is flexibility in scheduling to include weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as needed. Other duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be able to operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.).
  • Meets the attendance guidelines and adheres to departmental and company policies.
  • Works a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Works a reasonable amount of overtime when required.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which includes acknowledging guests and team members, initiating greetings, and maintaining an "on stage" presence.
  • Participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
  • Maintain assigned areas.
  • Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
  • Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor.
  • Clean and maintain slot machines and stands.
  • Clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors and any surface needing cleaning attention.
  • Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms.
  • Clean and refresh ashtrays and ash urns.
  • Restock with supplies (paper products) and chemicals work area (as needed).
  • Perform proper and trained cleaning procedures when blood borne pathogens are involved.
  • Clean and maintain areas as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
  • Vacuum as assigned.
  • Remove trash as assigned.
  • Remove or transport items from one area to another as assigned.
  • Mop floors.
  • Operate vacuum cleaners, floor cleaners, or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.).
  • Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to departmental and company policies.
  • Work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
