About The Position
The Environmental Service Aide performs general cleaning functions throughout the facility, adhering to proper infection control and safety procedures. This includes cleaning occupied patient rooms, performing discharge cleaning, and maintaining ancillary and public areas. The role requires the ability to work with blood and body fluids in a high-paced environment and a willingness to collaborate as a team player to ensure consistent quality care for patients. Flexibility in working hours may be required.
Requirements
- Ability to work with blood and body fluids in a high paced environment
- Must be willing to work as a team player in order to provide consistent quality care for patients
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to read and write and communicate in Basic English
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six (6) months of housekeeping experience
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning functions in all areas of the facility, following proper infection control and safety procedures
