About The Position
The Environmental Services Aide maintains the facilities within the highest quality standards for the industry while complying with all federal, state and local regulatory agencies’ guidelines. Job duties may include the handling, transportation, access to and/or contact with medications and related supplies. This role serves all age-specific groups and operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to frequent change. The position involves significant physical activity and requires strong communication and logical thinking skills.
Requirements
- Must possess reading and writing skills.
- Must comprehend and communicate in English.
Nice To Haves
- Previous environmental services work experience.
- Previous experience with infection control procedures and universal precautions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Performs daily cleaning functions with minimal supervision and instruction.
- Maintains facilities within the highest quality standards.
- Complies with all federal, state, and local regulatory agencies’ guidelines.
- Handles, transports, and has access to or contact with medications and related supplies.
- May require additional work hours/shifts outside normal schedule as need dictates.
- Works some holidays and rotating weekends.
