Requirements
- Advanced degree with background in toxicology; Ph.D. preferred
- Up to 2 years of relevant professional work experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Interest in leveraging automated workflows and data science tools
- Knowledge of statistical methods and probabilistic analysis applied to toxicology
- Collaborative mindset
- Ability/willingness to travel
Nice To Haves
- Programming skills in R and/or Python preferred
- Experience using mapping software such as ESRI ArcGIS is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support projects in the fields of toxicology, ecology, human health and ecological risk assessment, public health, hydrogeology, and water resources.
- Perform technical analyses and assist in the preparation of high-quality technical presentations, reports, letters, plans, and proposals with the guidance of a supervisor and project technical leads (PTLs).
- Assist in preparation of workplans and sampling and analysis plans for site investigations used to inform risk assessment, remediation options, regulatory compliance, litigation matters, and research projects.
- Assist in the management, analysis, and interpretation of environmental data using statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
- Perform data compilation, exploratory data analysis, data visualization, QA/QC, and computer modeling.
- Independently perform research tasks with input from technical experts.
- Participate in proposal development, project management and business development activities.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere through collaboration with technical experts, project managers, colleagues, and subcontractors.
