Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree from accredited program in environmental science or approved equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of progressive experience.
  • Valid driver's license, in conjunction with successfully passing the Company’s MVR.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently as well as effectively collaborate with teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite software.
  • Foundational knowledge of chemistry.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing field conditions and work in outdoor environments.
  • Physical capability to perform fieldwork, including lifting equipment and working in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Support and execution of investigation, remediation, and long-term monitoring projects involving chlorinated solvents, petroleum products, and small arms firing ranges.
  • Conduct field sampling activities including groundwater monitoring wells, soil, and surface water collection.
  • Measure and document groundwater levels and support well purging and sampling activities.
  • Operate and maintain field equipment (e.g., water level meters, pumps, and sampling tools).
  • Validate laboratory data.
  • Record accurate field data, maintain field logs, and ensure proper chain-of-custody documentation.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and established sampling protocols.
  • Perform statistical analysis of environmental data.
  • Work within defined scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
  • Implement appropriate quality control procedures.
  • Communicate as appropriate to project team concerning questions, concerns, progress, and results.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and locations as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, including drafting sections, analyzing, and compiling data.
  • Assist with proposal writing, cost estimating, and client management as necessary.
  • Provide administrative support such as organizing files and tracking data.
  • Supervise the work of technical support personnel.
