Requirements

Undergraduate or graduate degree from accredited program in environmental science or approved equivalent.
1-3 years of progressive experience.
Valid driver's license, in conjunction with successfully passing the Company’s MVR.
Ability to take direction and work independently as well as effectively collaborate with teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite software.
Foundational knowledge of chemistry.
Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changing field conditions and work in outdoor environments.
Physical capability to perform fieldwork, including lifting equipment and working in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Support and execution of investigation, remediation, and long-term monitoring projects involving chlorinated solvents, petroleum products, and small arms firing ranges.
Conduct field sampling activities including groundwater monitoring wells, soil, and surface water collection.
Measure and document groundwater levels and support well purging and sampling activities.
Operate and maintain field equipment (e.g., water level meters, pumps, and sampling tools).
Validate laboratory data.
Record accurate field data, maintain field logs, and ensure proper chain-of-custody documentation.
Comply with all safety procedures and established sampling protocols.
Perform statistical analysis of environmental data.
Work within defined scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
Implement appropriate quality control procedures.
Communicate as appropriate to project team concerning questions, concerns, progress, and results.
Coordinate with other disciplines and locations as necessary.
Assist in the preparation of technical reports, including drafting sections, analyzing, and compiling data.
Assist with proposal writing, cost estimating, and client management as necessary.
Provide administrative support such as organizing files and tracking data.
Supervise the work of technical support personnel.
