Requirements

0-2 years of environmental compliance and/or consulting experience.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., chemical, civil, or environmental) or environmental science.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Technical writing skills.
Some related experience, training, and/or coursework (such as environmental regulations, environmental chemistry, environmental release estimation, air emissions, spreadsheet, and database work).
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Prior job history or academic experience with environmental fieldwork, lab and data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently within narrow timeframes, if needed.
Excellent attitude and ability to work well within a team environment.
Developed organizational, time management, and planning skills.
Clean driving record, DOT qualified.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on dexterity in the mechanical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct engineering and compliance testing of EPA 40 CFR 60 and 40 CFR 75 test methods.
Perform both office and field work, as needed.
Diagnose, maintain and repair sampling equipment.
Control tools, components and materials with precision and coordination.
