Requirements

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., chemical, civil, or environmental) or environmental science.
  • 0-2 years of environmental compliance and/or consulting experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Prior job history or academic experience with environmental fieldwork, lab and data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently within narrow timeframes, if needed.
  • Excellent attitude and ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Developed organizational, time management, and planning skills.
  • Hands-on dexterity in the mechanical field is preferred.
  • Clean driving record, DOT qualified.

Nice To Haves

  • Environmental regulations, environmental chemistry, environmental release estimation, air emissions, spreadsheet, and database work.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct engineering and compliance testing of EPA 40 CFR 60 and 40 CFR 75 test methods.
  • Perform both office and field work, as needed.
  • Diagnose, maintain and repair sampling equipment.
  • Control tools, components and materials with precision and coordination.
