Environmental Science Teacher Needed: 9th-12th Grade Classrooms
About The Position
Kreyco is seeking a qualified, passionate teacher for an on-site high school Environmental Science teaching opportunity for the 2026–2027 school year. The role serves 9th–12th grade classrooms. Teachers receive a comprehensive curriculum, coaching and mentorship, and professional development at no cost. Kreyco welcomes applicants with or without teaching certification and assists teachers in obtaining certification while they teach. The position is in person, with daytime teaching hours Monday through Friday and no night or weekend classes. Payment varies by teaching project, ranging from $400 to $1,100 weekly; the payment structure includes holidays and school breaks. The role is a 1099 independent contractor position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Reside in the United States and within commuting distance of the school.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to commute to the school.
- Complete a background check.
Responsibilities
- Teach Environmental Science to students in 9th–12th grade classrooms.
- Support student learning, growth, and development.
- Participate in coaching, mentorship, and professional development.
- Work toward obtaining teaching certification while teaching if not already certified.
