About The Position

AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Atlanta, GA on November 5th and 6th. This event is an opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027. The event includes a networking mixer on Thursday evening and interviews on Friday at the Atlanta office. AECOM is seeking an Environmental Science Intern to be based in Atlanta, GA, with an expected start date in Spring/Summer 2027. Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from academic learning, aiding the transition from student to professional. Interns will be assigned duties to provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study and will perform routine tasks under supervision.

Requirements

Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, or related field and must have completed at least 1 year of study.
Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions.
Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Nice To Haves

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous internship experience is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft office.
