About The Position

Path Light Pro is seeking a full-time, entry-level Environmental Safety Inspector to conduct stormwater, erosion, and safety evaluations at construction sites. The role offers independent outdoor work, travel opportunities, and in-house training; previous inspection experience is not required. The position supports Path Light Pro’s stormwater and safety consulting services to the construction industry and involves working directly with clients and onsite construction personnel.

Requirements

No previous inspection experience is required.
Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be able to walk up and down inclines and on uneven ground.
Must have dependable transportation.
Must be hardworking and teachable.
Must be a positive team player.
Must be able to travel and work at remote sites.
Must have full range of mobility in the upper and lower body and be able to reach overhead.
Must be able to walk, stoop, stand, bend, sit, kneel, and squat for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently throughout the workday if necessary.

Responsibilities

Conduct construction site evaluations for stormwater, erosion, and safety.
Maintain positive working relationships with clients.
Complete site evaluation documentation in electronic systems and onsite Stormwater or Safety log books.
Communicate construction stormwater and safety issues to onsite client personnel.
Communicate with the immediate supervisor and clients in a timely and professional manner to support efficient operations.
Use problem-solving skills to provide solutions to stormwater and safety management challenges during construction.
Learn new skills in the construction stormwater and safety management industry.
