The primary role of the EHS Coordinator is to build a plant and/or department culture with an unconditional stance on safety. The EHS Coordinator will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of critical safety, health, and Environmental processes/programs/procedures to achieve a zero-injury environment. The successful candidate will provide leadership and apply technical abilities to engage employees at all levels of the organization to develop and sustain world-class safety and environmental process. This position reports to the EHS Leader. A successful candidate must have exceptional teamwork/collaboration skills and the initiative to act within a fast-paced environment. They are capable in building partnerships with multiple functions and quickly understand the process of the day-to-day environment, assess safety risks, take immediate action, and sustain those changes. Effective and engaging teaching, training and coaching is a critical skill for success in this role.
