Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of environmental consulting experience
2+ years of project management experience
Knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, Ohio VAP, and BUSTR
Strong communication and technical writing skills
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred
Work performed in indoor and outdoor environments, including uneven terrain
Lifting/carrying requirements based on role demands
Certain projects or client sites may require post-offer drug screening, background screening, or other compliance requirements as a condition of site access or project participation.

Regulatory-facing expertise and leadership (informed by Ohio EPA supervisory experience)
Deep experience with Ohio VAP, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, and BUSTR frameworks
Phase II ESA leadership, environmental sampling, and compliance-driven project work
Mentorship, staff supervision, and project/program oversight elements layered into responsibilities

Responsibilities

Manage environmental projects from scoping through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance.
Oversee and conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
Direct soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and stormwater sampling.
Prepare technical reports, permits, and regulatory approvals.
Serve as a key client contact and mentor junior staff.
Support business development and proposal efforts.
