About The Position

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Environmental Project/Client Manager for our Nashville, TN office. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of professional environmental consulting experience with strong knowledge of state (Tennessee-specific) and federal environmental regulations.
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training (current).
Demonstrated experience with conducting/managing multi-media environmental sampling (soil, groundwater, surface water, soil gas), environmental site assessments (Phase I and Phase II), state cleanup programs, remedial investigations, and corrective action activities.
Strong technical writing skills with experience producing high-quality reports and regulatory submittals.
Demonstrated experience managing projects, including budgets, schedules, and client communications.
Proven ability to lead project teams and manage client expectations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills.
Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
Close attention to detail with commitment to quality.
Ability to travel, including overnight travel.

Nice To Haves

Professional Geologist or Professional Engineering license(s)/registration(s).
Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
Demonstrated ability to oversee and mentor junior staff.
10+ years of related project management, financial management, or task management experience.
Experience with the TDEC regulatory programs including Division of Land Protection – formerly Division of Solid Waste Management and Division of Remediation.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple environmental and geologic projects, maintaining scope, schedule, budget, quality objectives, and client relationships effectively.
Lead and oversee field activities, including field documentation, subcontractor coordination, and health and safety compliance.
Plan and coordinate environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, and remediation activities.
Provide technical review and senior-level oversight of field activities, data interpretation, and conclusions.
Prepare, review, and approve high-quality technical reports, work plans, proposals, and regulatory submittals.
Apply regulatory knowledge to ensure projects meet federal, state, and local environmental requirements.
Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, staff, and other stakeholders.
Mentor junior staff and support technical development across project teams.
Lead business development efforts through client engagement, proposal participation, and identification of new opportunities.
