Tradewater is a certified B Corp on a mission to combat climate change by identifying, collecting, and mitigating the release of non-CO₂ superpollutants like old refrigerants and methane. These actions reduce potent greenhouse gases, protect the ozone layer, and generate carbon credits to fund our mission. Our projects also create social and economic value for local communities. Targeting superpollutants is a fast and cost-effective climate strategy, as these gases drive nearly half of all human-caused warming and are exponentially more potent than CO₂. Tradewater has prevented over 10.6 million tons of CO₂ equivalent from releasing into the atmosphere since 2012 and aims to prevent at least 30 million tons by 2030. This role is part of the U.S. Halocarbon team and involves traveling to support refrigerant collection across the United States, spending 30-50% of time on the road. When not traveling, responsibilities include planning collection trips, supporting the sourcing team, and fielding inbound calls for Small Scale Aggregation (SSA) efforts. The position is a combination of remote work and travel, requiring proximity to a major airport. Applications are accepted through September 15, 2026.
