About The Position

The Environmental Planner will develop and implement strategies to minimize the environmental impact of production processes and facilities, focusing on controlling pollution sources like chemical substances, kerosene, and paint. This role involves monitoring and analyzing environmental performance, conducting impact assessments for new processes, ensuring ISO 14001 conformance, and preparing for recertification audits. The planner will also organize 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities to enhance production line efficiency and environmental responsibility, ensuring equipment and materials meet the company's 5S policy. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with urban planners and community leaders for zoning compliance and the development of sustainability programs engaging employees, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Planning, Sustainability, Environmental Science or closely related field
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Fuyao Glass America Inc., Core Foundation Competencies including Ethics, Integrity, Values & Trust.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to minimize the environmental impact on the production processes and facilities, with a focus on controlling pollution sources such as chemical substances, kerosene, and paint.
• Monitor and analyze the environmental performance of production operations and identify improvement measures.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments for new products production processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Ensure ISO 14001 conformance and prepare ISO 14001 recertification audits.
• Organize and implement 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities to ensure a high level of efficiency in the production line while maintaining environmental responsibility.
• Ensure production equipment and materials are properly organized and meet the company's 5S policy.
• Collaborate with urban planners and community leaders to ensure FGA facility is in compliance with local zoning regulations.
• Develop and implement sustainability programs that engage FGA employees, customers, and suppliers.
