About The Position

Fuyao Glass America Inc. is seeking an Environmental Planner to develop and implement strategies to minimize environmental impact on production processes and facilities. This role focuses on controlling pollution sources, monitoring environmental performance, and conducting impact assessments. The Environmental Planner will also ensure ISO 14001 conformance, organize 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities, and collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and sustainability goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Community Planning, Sustainability, Environmental Science or closely related field
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize the environmental impact on the production processes and facilities, with a focus on controlling pollution sources such as chemical substances, kerosene, and paint.
  • Monitor and analyze the environmental performance of production operations and identify improvement measures.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments for new products production processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ensure ISO 14001 conformance and prepare ISO 14001 recertification audits.
  • Organize and implement 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities to ensure a high level of efficiency in the production line while maintaining environmental responsibility.
  • Ensure production equipment and materials are properly organized and meet the company's 5S policy.
  • Collaborate with urban planners and community leaders to ensure FGA facility is in compliance with local zoning regulations.
  • Develop and implement sustainability programs that engage FGA employees, customers, and suppliers.
