The Environmental Planner/Analyst is a junior to mid-level position in the Environmental Planning practice at CSG. The Environmental Planner/Analyst works under the direction of senior environmental planning staff and performs professional services involving project reviews in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The Environmental Planner/Analyst has responsibilities for project research, analysis coordination of Exemptions, Initial Studies, (Mitigated) Negative Declarations, EIR’s, special study assignments and streamlined environmental reviews. The position also provides opportunities to participate in business development. The CSG Environmental Planning Practice involves projects throughout the state, providing services to current and new clients, with the wide range of our services for a variety of project types. Our projects are diverse in terms of complexity and levels of study and include residential development at various densities, downtown master plans, infrastructure improvements, policy planning programs, mixed use projects and community facilities in both urban and rural communities.
