Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead diverse teams of scientists, engineers, and planners in executing environmental permitting projects for various industries including rail, renewable energy, oil and gas, and linear utilities. The role involves developing permitting strategies, coordinating with clients, and ensuring successful project outcomes. This position requires a strong understanding of state and federal laws and regulations such as the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act. The Project Manager will also be responsible for senior-level quality assurance/quality control of client deliverables, including agency consultations and permit applications. Coordination of additional project services like stormwater and erosion control planning, cultural resources, floodplain assessments, and civil engineering components is also expected. During project delivery, the individual will serve as the client point of contact and manage the technical, commercial, and financial performance of projects, overseeing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, change, and contracts. Furthermore, the role includes supporting and/or managing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and leading pursuit and proposal development.
