About The Position

Clean Water Action is hiring motivated individuals for community-outreach and management positions focused on progressive social change. The Field Manager role is an in-person position based in Northampton, Massachusetts, and is full-time. Candidates should be available to start immediately and must have reliable plans to commute or reside locally. All Field Manager candidates begin as canvassers, educating the public about campaigns and building support through petition signatures, letters to lawmakers, and fundraising. Depending on skill level and/or past experience, candidates may be fast-tracked to trainer or Field Manager positions. Field Managers lead and develop teams of activists while supporting Clean Water Action’s work on accountability, clean water, environmental justice, and climate change.

Responsibilities

Educate the public about campaigns and build support through petition signatures, letters to lawmakers, and fundraising.
