About The Position
As an Environmental Monitoring Specialist, you will be performing Environmental Monitoring activities associated with clinical and/or commercial facilities, utilities, and water systems. Main responsibilities include: Perform GMP tasks associated with maintaining compliant manufacturing areas and operations Conduct sampling, analyzing, interpreting and trending of results Create, review and approve documentation Work is performed in a clean room environment This is on-site in Sanford, NC
Requirements
- Minimum of a completed Bachelor's degree in a scientific concentration
- Prior experience with environmental monitoring and/or working in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting ideal (specifically with understanding of cGMP, gLIMS, MODA and MS Office Suite)
- Comfortability with working in a clean room environment, as gowning/garbing is required in these areas
- Ability to lift 30 lbs, stand for 2 to 3 hours at a time, sit for 2 to 3 hours at a time, walk long distances and bend to obtain items from lower shelving/cabinets
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
