Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental compliance, ideally within chemical manufacturing or industrial operations.
Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations (EPA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, SPCC, NPDES) and compliance requirements.
Experience interpreting and managing environmental permits along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with proficiency in environmental systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all environmental permits and regulations (air, wastewater, stormwater, and chemical storage) while managing required monitoring and reporting.
Lead environmental programs by interpreting regulatory requirements and assessing impacts of process changes, new materials, or equipment.
Oversee environmental monitoring, data analysis, and recordkeeping to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste programs, including vendor coordination, storage, disposal, and waste reduction initiatives.
Drive sustainability and continuous improvement efforts by leading projects that reduce emissions, waste, water usage, and overall environmental risk.
