About The Position

Clean Water Action is a national nonprofit with over 50 years of experience in advocating for clean water, environmental justice, and public health. With a strong emphasis on grassroots organizing, expert policy research, and holding elected officials accountable, we empower communities to take meaningful action on critical environmental issues. We are currently fighting to regulate AI data centers, ban toxic PFAS chemicals from fire-fighting foam and household goods, and pass comprehensive legislation to protect environmental justice communities across the state. As part of the team, you will engage directly with Clean Water Action members across the nation to mobilize support, raise funds, and fight for policies that protect all people in all communities.

Requirements

• Passion for environmental and social justice issues
• Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in nonprofit work, grassroots organizing, or policy advocacy
• Commitment to the cause of diversity, equity, justice and inclusion
• Candidates should enjoy connecting with people as part of their daily work and are motivated to make a real change.
