About The Position
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental consulting. Interns will be involved in sampling and assessments of various environmental media, documenting field activities, and utilizing field screening equipment. The role also involves interacting with contractors, technicians, and project managers, writing daily field reports, and potentially working with GIS/GPS. The internship is ideal for students pursuing a Bachelor or Master's degree with an interest in environmental regulations and their connection to the construction process.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering with an environmental focus, Geology, Environmental Science or related degree
- Interest in environmental regulations and how environmental issues are related to the construction process
- Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites – Mileage will be reimbursed
- Position requires carrying 40 – 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
