About The Position

Indorama Ventures is looking for an Environmental Science Intern for Summer 2025. This internship is designed for full-time students at accredited four-year colleges or universities, running from May to August. The program aims to equip interns with skills and experience for a successful career. Requirements

Must be a full-time college student at the Junior or Senior level by the end of Spring 2025.
Currently enrolled at an accredited university seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and/or Chemical Engineering.
3.0 GPA or higher required.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and not require work authorization sponsorship.
Must possess or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Card.
Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.
Knowledge of the basic principles and methods used in chemical plant manufacturing and analyses.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.
Able to build relationships across all organizational lines.
Able to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Must be willing to commit to the summer program for the entire 10-week program.

Responsibilities

Give a project assignments presentation to the Site Leadership Team at the end of the internship.
Review past and current environmental events to ensure all necessary data and information has been collected.
Work with several databases that require data entry.
Work with Environmental Department and Health and Safety Department on daily tasks.
Perform assigned regulatory tasks associated with the site waste and water systems, including data collection and entry.
Attend project team meetings and report project status updates.
Present a report on the status of investigations and other work completed during the internship.
Ensure compliance with all corporate procedures and guidelines.
Complete annual required training on-time.
Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.
Assist other employees in accomplishing Indorama company goals.
Follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives.
Participate in and complete company-required training programs.
