This position offers a direct opportunity to apply acoustics and environmental science coursework to real-world renewable energy siting and permitting work. As an Environmental Noise & Acoustics Intern, the selected candidate will learn to apply industry standards, including ANSI, IEC, and state and local noise ordinances, in the preparation of noise impact assessments and will assist Senior Acousticians in field data collection, acoustic modeling, and the preparation of technical reports supporting permitting and community engagement.
