About The Position

The Environmental, Health and Safety Leadership Development Program (Rotational) at MacLean-Fogg, known here as the Manufacturing Management Program (MMP), is a two-year rotational program for environmental, health and safety professionals starting their careers. You will complete one rotation at a U.S. manufacturing facility and one with a Corporate or Shared Services team, gaining hands-on experience in risk recognition, employee engagement, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement. Your first placement will be confirmed in late April before the July 2027 start, and relocation is fully covered for both rotations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health with a relevant focus, Engineering with relevant EHS coursework, or a closely related field, conferred in 2026 or 2027
  • Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Demonstrated leadership through an internship, student organization, project team, volunteer role, or job
  • Willingness to relocate anywhere in the United States for both rotations
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for orientation, program events, and facility visits
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, co-op, laboratory, project, or coursework involving occupational safety, environmental management, industrial hygiene, or risk assessment
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, or presenting EHS-related information
  • Exposure to incident investigation, corrective actions, or management systems
  • Interest in partnering with manufacturing teams to prevent injuries and environmental impacts

Responsibilities

  • Support risk assessments, inspections, incident learning, environmental activities, and corrective-action follow-through
  • Analyze EHS observations and data to identify patterns and practical improvement opportunities
  • Partner with employees, supervisors, and leaders to communicate expectations and strengthen safe work practices
  • Lead a first-year project scoped with your supervisor and present results to a panel of leaders
  • Complete a larger second-year project proposed by the host team and matched to your background and goals
  • Complete the shared MMP leadership curriculum alongside your daily work
  • Meet regularly with a mentor at another location and an MMP participant who is at least one year ahead of you
  • Communicate progress, recommendations, and results to employees and leaders across the business
