About The Position

Performs various activities relating to information technology (IT) that may include technical design implementation, maintenance of systems & services, and oversight of electronic data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of appropriate experience.
  • Relevant experience may substitute for required education.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects University facilities, equipment, and work sites for compliance with applicable OSHA and environmental regulations, compliance with fire prevention principles and codes and proper operation of life safety systems and equipment.
  • Assists Authority Having Jurisdiction with inspection of University facilities.
  • Assists with or conducts job hazard analysis and personal protective equipment assessments.
  • Gathers and organizes data; prepares reports; maintains necessary records and databases.
  • Prepares and submits reports on conditions and actions taken, and follows up on resolution of hazardous conditions, regulatory violations, and system abnormalities.
  • Presents information and training for University employees and students on occupational safety.
  • Assists in training setup and information dissemination regarding training.
  • Executes surveys to evaluate indoor air quality, noise and other parameters using a variety of instruments; submits samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
