Requirements

  • Familiar with site environmental and safety policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Computer basics including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Able to maintain company-wide safety, health and environmental program
  • Ability to analyze and process areas for potential hazards
  • Ability to appropriately intervene and correct unsafe conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Previous training experience preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring workplace conditions are met for the health and safety of all workers in the facility on 2nd shift.
  • Technicians maintain and help improve environmental impact of the facility.
  • Works closely with supervisors and a small team
  • Ability to create and conduct trainings
  • Communicate through emails, phone, and in person
  • Lead safety teams
  • Create, review, and implement EHS standard work and analyze for effectiveness
