Somafina is a growing co-manufacturer of vitamins and supplements in Utah, and business is thriving as we attract larger, more established customers. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate in occupational safety, environmental health, or industrial hygiene to apply their education in a real, fast-paced manufacturing environment — with hands-on ownership from day one, not a desk-bound administrative role. If you're ready to build your EHS career on the plant floor, we'd love to have you on the team. The EHS Specialist owns the day-to-day discipline of occupational health and safety across approximately 6–7 Somafina manufacturing locations in Lindon and Layton, Utah, reporting to the Director of Human Resources. This role spends substantial time in the facilities and on the manufacturing floor — identifying hazards, driving corrective actions, and building safety culture through direct relationships with plant leadership and employees. This is an entry-level role designed for a recent graduate with 0–3 years of experience, including relevant internships or co-ops. You'll start by participating in inspections, investigations, and safety programs alongside experienced team members, and progressively take on more ownership — including leading incident investigations — as you build credibility and judgment on the job. We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the initiative to follow an issue through to resolution — not just identify it.
