About The Position

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Professionals to support semiconductor and high-tech construction projects. EHS Professionals may be assigned to departments such as Chemical, Tool Hookup, CCTV Low Voltage, UPW, AMHS, or Self Perform operations. This role is responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with company and client EHS requirements, conducting inspections and audits, supporting field operations, and coaching employees and supervisors to achieve safety excellence.

Requirements

  • OSHA 510 certification or equivalent (OSHA 511/500).
  • 3+ years of construction, general industry, semiconductor, or related experience.
  • 3+ years of health and safety experience.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in active construction environments and climb stairs or elevated platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • CHST certification or Safety degree.
  • Semiconductor construction experience.
  • Bilingual in English/Mandarin or English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily EHS support to assigned operational departments.
  • Attend departmental meetings and provide EHS updates to management teams.
  • Participate in Toolbox Talks and assist in the development of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Pre-Task Plans (PTPs).
  • Assist supervisors in ensuring employees are fit for duty and have completed required training.
  • Champion proactive safety initiatives and coach managers and employees toward safety excellence.
  • Conduct daily EHS observations of workplace conditions and employee behaviors.
  • Document observations according to company and client requirements.
  • Report EHS concerns and issues to departmental management and the Core EHS Team.
  • Take immediate action when imminent danger situations are identified.
  • Conduct routine health and safety observations, including identifying opportunities for improvement and recognizing positive safety behaviors.
  • Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Perform environmental audits and inspections.
  • Assess work activities for compliance with company, client, local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure construction equipment complies with applicable EHS regulations and client safety requirements.
  • Support site Leading Indicator Initiatives, including Incident and Injury Free programs and Zero Tolerance policies.
  • Ensure prompt medical treatment is provided to injured employees or subcontractors.
  • Conduct incident investigations for injuries, near misses, and non-injury events.
  • Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure emergency procedures are incorporated into JHAs and PTPs.
  • Provide first aid as necessary while maintaining valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
  • Conduct EHS training sessions as required.
  • Educate management, supervisors, and employees on applicable EHS policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper orientation of employees and subcontractors.
  • Maintain required safety documentation, including: Inspection reports, Training records, JHAs and PTPs, Behavioral-based safety observations, Injury logs, Accident investigation reports, SDS reviews, Permit-to-Work documentation.
  • Submit EHS documentation to the Core EHS Team for proper recordkeeping.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly EHS reports.
