About The Position

Environmental Health & Safety Intern West Fraser is a diversified North American wood products company producing southern yellow pine lumber and wood chips across the Southern US and Western Canada. We are the largest lumber producer in North America! Our employees operate in a culture that values safety first and rewards hard work. The EHS Intern will provide the mill with “hands-on” support and implementation that will ensure facility compliance with OSHA and EPA related federal, state and location Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) regulations and applicable Company policies.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in or have completed a four-year Environmental Health degree program
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Benefits

  • Pay: $22.00 per hour, minimum 40-hour work week, potentially more (will accommodate students who can only work part-time)
