About The Position

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking an EHS Coordinator to join our team in Boca Raton! Coastal Waste & Recycling is a growing privately owned, locally operated solid waste disposal and recycling company headquartered out of Boca Raton, Florida serving communities across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina (and more to come)! Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field preferred
  • 1+ year of administrative or office support experience preferred
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Experience supporting compliance, safety, or operations teams
  • Familiarity with OSHA or DOT regulations (a plus, not required)
  • Experience working in multi-site or field-based environments

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize EHS documentation, including permits, inspections, incident records, training records, and compliance logs
  • Track and monitor compliance requirements, including training completion, permit renewals, and regulatory reporting deadlines
  • Support the preparation and organization of documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory requests
  • Maintain EHS data in systems, spreadsheets, and databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting
  • Support EHS team members in their assigned area (Environmental, Safety, or both) by compiling reports, updating records, and ensuring documentation accuracy
  • Coordinate administrative aspects of EHS activities, including scheduling training, inspections, and follow-ups
  • Partner with field teams to collect required documentation and ensure timely submission of EHS information
  • Assist in improving administrative processes that support EHS compliance and operational efficiency
