About The Position

Georgia-Pacific is seeking motivated, detail-oriented Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Coordinators to join our team at the Green Bay Broadway facility. We currently have two EH&S Coordinator openings supporting either our Converting Tissue/Napkin organization or our Logistics organization. Qualified candidates will be considered for either opportunity based on their experience, interests, and business needs. In this role, you will partner closely with operational teams to strengthen our safety culture, support environmental compliance initiatives, and help drive continuous improvement efforts across the facility. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your knowledge and experience in environmental, health, and safety systems within a manufacturing setting. This is an onsite, day-shift position. EH&S Coordinators must maintain flexibility to meet the operational needs of the facility. Requirements

Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, maintenance, logistics, production, warehousing, or converting environment.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher in a safety, environmental, technical, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience supporting safety, environmental, or industrial operations.
Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Completion of certifications such as OSHA 30, Fall Protection Competent Person, Lift Truck Train the Trainer, or similar safety-related certifications.
Experience supporting Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs in a manufacturing, converting, logistics, warehousing, or industrial environment.
Experience with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Experience supporting operational risk assessments in manufacturing, converting, warehousing, logistics, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Partner with operations teams to strengthen EH&S compliance, improve employee engagement, and advance the facility's safety performance.
Conduct Hazard Identification Risk Assessments and support implementation of effective risk mitigation strategies.
Support compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and other applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Conduct safety and environmental inspections, facilitate incident investigations and root cause analyses, and support corrective actions that improve facility performance.
Facilitate risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and other hazard identification processes to help reduce workplace risk.
Support management of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other critical safety programs.
Engage employees to strengthen safety knowledge, ownership, and accountability.
Assist with onboarding, orientation, and safety improvement initiatives.
Partner with leaders and employees to identify opportunities that improve safety performance and environmental compliance.
For Converting Tissue/Napkin Operations: Partner with operations and maintenance teams to identify and mitigate manufacturing process risks. Support machine safety initiatives, guarding assessments, and operational risk reduction efforts.
For Logistics Operations: Partner with warehouse, shipping, and transportation teams to strengthen safe material handling and movement throughout the facility. Support powered industrial truck, dock safety, traffic flow, and pedestrian safety programs.
