About The Position

Our client is an established AS9100-certified manufacturing company with more than 60 years in business. They are seeking an EHS Coordinator to help promote a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and making workplace safety a top priority. Previous EHS experience is highly preferred; however, candidates with strong transferable skills from manufacturing, quality, compliance, operations, or a related field are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, detail-oriented approach to work
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Ability to work effectively in both factory and office environments
Confidence communicating with employees at all levels of an organization
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and follow through on assignments
Previous EHS, safety, environmental, compliance, manufacturing, or related experience is preferred

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential
Experience working with ERP or MRP systems
Wastewater-management experience
Experience preparing or submitting reports to government agencies

Responsibilities

Help build and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety
Support compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements
Assist with and conduct workplace safety investigations
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
Maintain accurate safety and environmental records
Communicate safety expectations, procedures, and updates to employees
Work closely with employees, managers, vendors, customers, and regulatory agencies
Support environmental reporting and wastewater-management activities as needed
Help ensure safety remains a top priority throughout the organization
