About The Position

Crysalis Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality (EHS&Q) Manager. In this role, our EHS&Q Manager will work to ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards while maintaining alignment with regulatory policies, company goals, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a strong background in regulatory compliance, quality management, and reporting. This individual will help us ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in compliance, quality management, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting and safety standards.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Experience with quality audits and quality management systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

Oversee 24-hour plant operations related to Quality Assurance, EHS, Employee Training, and Compliance.
Develop and maintain a safety training program
Champion a culture of “Safety First” and “Right the First Time.”
Serve as a member of the Plant Leadership Team, contributing to goal-setting, planning, and performance review.
Manage QA/QC, Safety, Environmental Control, Regulatory Reporting, and Permitting programs.
Implement QA/QC practices consistent with the best industry standards for the ethanol industry.
Supervise QA laboratory technicians and ensure that they receive appropriate training and resources.
Maintain compliance with all city, county, state, and federal regulations.
Prepare analytical reports and recommend operational improvements to help ensure quality products, a safe working environment, and regulatory compliance.
