About The Position
This position assists with environmental health and safety tasks, including conducting a physical inventory of laboratory chemicals on campus using ChemManager+ software and performing safety eyewash and shower activations. Other related duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Major in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
- Knowledge of chemicals/safety when handling chemicals
- Knowledge of personal protective equipment
- Experience in a laboratory setting
- Ability to work with Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
- Assist with taking and compiling a physical inventory of all laboratory chemicals on campus
- Utilizing ChemManager+ software
- Conducting Safety Eyewash and Shower Activations
- Other duties related to environmental health and safety as assigned
