About The Position

The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator Senior serves as a key EHS subject matter expert within a manufacturing facility, leading initiatives that ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. This role drives continuous improvement in safety performance, systems, and culture while partnering with cross-functional teams. The position plays a critical role in advancing EHS strategies, strengthening workforce engagement, and supporting governance processes. It also provides hands-on expertise to enhance safety performance and mitigate risks across operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in environmental, Health and Safety or a related field
3+ years of experience in environmental and/or health and safety, including implementation of safety programs
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations, as well as environmental management systems such as ISO 14001
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking systems

Responsibilities

Provide EHS expertise and coaching on the manufacturing floor, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting implementation of solutions
Lead and support incident investigations, including causal analysis and implementation of corrective actions
Track, analyze, and report EHS key performance indicators while advising on regulatory and compliance requirements
Conduct inspections and audits of EHS processes and equipment to ensure compliance and effectiveness
Drive continuous improvement of EHS programs and management systems across the facility
Maintain compliance with environmental permits and site-specific regulatory requirements
