As an entry-level Environmental Field Technician, the role involves coordinating and executing activities assigned by Project Managers for environmental projects, including environmental site assessments, risk assessments, and remediation projects. Key tasks include conducting site visits and inspections, monitoring and supervising drilling and/or remediation activities, preparing field notes, collecting soil and groundwater samples, and writing environmental reports. The position requires up to 50% field work, with assignments across the region and Canada, involving 1 to 3 weeks of travel per month and potential overnight stays. The role is balanced with 50% office-based tasks, with increased field work expected during the summer and fall seasons.
