About The Position

The Environmental Field Engineer (EFE) supports the Program Manager and Project Engineer in the execution of multiple complex remediation projects. The EFE integrates the use of GIS technologies with remedial construction to document site conditions and project progress. The EFE conducts site evaluations and exercises problem-solving skills to address field conditions. The EFE manages fieldwork schedules, budgets, and resources utilizing strong organization skills. The EFE coordinates work with team members, subcontractors, and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, civil engineering, or geology.
  • Experience is GIS mapping including ArcGIS.
  • Experience managing procurement and material deliveries in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork and leadership skills for collaborating with engineers, scientists, construction personnel, and contractors.
  • Ability to obtain FAA security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in one of these disciplines is beneficial.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired.
