About The Position

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineering Intern to work with engineers on municipal, federal, and industrial projects. The intern will collaborate with engineers at various career levels and with multidisciplinary project teams. The position involves researching engineering solutions to support project analyses, reporting, and design; helping prepare documents and presentations; and potentially assisting with construction management fieldwork to gain experience across the project lifecycle. Tools may include ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel, and other software.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in and taking courses toward a bachelor's or master's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field.

Responsibilities
