By joining the Division of Abandoned Mine Lands as an Environmental Engineer Supervisor for the Eastern Region Branch Design Section in Franklin County, you will have the opportunity to lead engineering initiatives to restore historic abandoned mine lands, mitigate dangerous hazards like highwalls and open portals, and protect Kentucky's natural resources. This position involves regular field work and travel throughout the state in support of the AML mission. Field activities include the investigation of sites for remediation, construction surveying, site visits with contractors and various state and federal agencies, and training activities. EEC participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. EEC will only use E-Verify once you have accepted a job offer and completed the Form I-9.
