About The Position

Flint Hills Resources (FHR), a Koch company, is seeking Summer 2026 Environmental Engineering Interns for its refinery in Rosemount, MN. FHR interns collaborate within teams on real-life projects and challenges. As an Environmental Engineering Intern, you will invest in your future while learning about various environmental regulations and permitting requirements, monitoring and sampling processes, and data analysis and management. Interns are assigned individual projects and mentors. These 12-week in-person internships offer a first-hand look at industry and company opportunities. At FHR, interns gain real-world, hands-on experience, with the opportunity to tackle significant projects, problem-solve, and take ownership of their work. The FHR Intern Program also offers opportunities to learn about Koch Industries, its people, Principle Based Management, and the local community, all while growing your network. Through weekly learning sessions, location-specific programming, and professional development, the program aims to help individuals grow and learn how they can best contribute. This 12-week program allows you to experience 'Life at Koch' as you start your career and explore opportunities within the Koch network of companies. Requirements

  • Enrolled in a 4-year degree program majoring in Environmental Engineering or Science, Chemical Engineering, or other related science, engineering, or environmental field.
  • Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2027.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
